Brooks High Seniors Receive College Credit

Eleven Brooks High students scored high enough on the 2009 AP Language and Composition Exam and the AP Literature Exam to receive college credit. The exams are scored on a 1-5 scale, and students must obtain at least a score of 3 to receive college credit. The three hour test consists of a multiple choice section and three essay questions.

2010 Seniors receiving credit were: Ciara Daniel, Saul Evans, Hannah Faulkner, Jacob Greider, Elizabeth Hurren, Sarah Lauridsen, Shane Peters, and Katie Russell. 2009 graduates who received credit included Elizabeth Simbeck, Jessica Swinea, and John Hester. Congratulations to all of you for your hard work and perseverance.
